About YaBajó

Updated October 24, 2026

YaBajó is a Mexican site with free calculators and guides to understand your electric bill and decide with numbers: how much you'd save with solar panels, which appliance raises your bill, what UPS you need or what wire gauge the code requires.

The name means “it went down” in Spanish — as in your bill. This English version is for everyone who lives in Mexico and gets a CFE bill in Spanish.

Where the numbers come from

The calculators and guides use public, official data. Each page says the source and the date we checked it:

• CFE: residential rates 1, 1A to 1F and DAC, and the appliance usage table.
• NASA POWER: sun hours and temperature for each state.
• NOM-001-SEDE-2012 (Diario Oficial de la Federación): wire gauges and breakers.
• FIDE and manufacturer spec sheets: appliance usage, UPS units, inverters and batteries.

The math happens in your browser, on the same page: what you type isn't sent anywhere. Results are estimates to guide you, not a quote. Before buying or installing anything, have a professional check it.

How the site is funded

YaBajó is free. Some product links are affiliate links to Mercado Libre México: if you buy through them, the store pays us a commission at no extra cost to you. We choose products by their specs and the seller's reputation, not by the commission. The site may also show ads in the future.
